Schedule a Class

Upon inquiry, we will work with you to: 

• Secure a date (or series of dates) that fits your schedule
• Choose a theme (or series of themes) that best compliments your school's curriculum  
• Determine the best set up location within your facility
• Set a tentative class time schedule based on the number/ages of children participating 

On the day of the class:

• The instructor will arrive at your facility early to set up  (for Books Alive 15-20 minutes early, for Rock-It Science 30 minutes to 1 hour early). 
• The instructor will confirm class times/duration with the director and will ensure that each class knows when/where to report for class.
• Upon completion of classes, the instructor will require about 5-10 minutes to clean up from Books Alive and about 30 minutes to 1 hour to clean up from Rock-It Science. 

 For Preschool Age Children:

• Preschool Books Alive classes cost $3.50 per child with a $200.00 minimum per visit (20-30 minute classes depending on the age of the class).
• Preschool Rock-It Science classes cost $3.50 per child with a $250.00 minimum per visit (30 minute classes).
• Longer preschool classes (40 minutes to 1 hour) are available for 3, 4 and 5 year olds or for centers wishing to combine Books Alive/Rock-It Science into one class! Please inquire if you are interested in this option!  We will customize the class to your school's needs.

For School-Age Children:

• School-Age Rock-It Science classes are $5.00-$10.00 per child depending on the class selected with a $195.00 minimum per visit (45 minute to 1 hr classes).

• Many schools choose to include the cost of Books Alive/Rock-It Science as part of their programming, while others choose to pass the cost along to their families with an "in-house field trip" fee.
